Mental Horror started its activities in 1993 as a traditional Death Metal band, in Brazil following the leading bands in that time, in the beginning of 1995 they released their first demo tape, having great acceptance by the extreme Death Metal fans and making Mental Horror a known name in the underground scene.
Having line-up problems since the beginning, the band could only get stable in September 1997, with only one member remaining from the original line-up, Claudio C.
With a new line up since 2005,Mental Horror starts a new concept on they own music. In just a couple of months had some annihilation songs they never done before. With the purpose to spread they music out from Brazil, Mental Horror went out to Europe for the first, between May and June,2006, the band played in some festivals over Europe, such as Neurotic Death Fest , Festung Open air and Fuck the commerce. With a great response from the crowd and metal scene as general, Mental Horror are working on in the new full length that are coming out in January, 2007 by mutilation records (Brazil) and in Europe by Animate records(Germany) ,on european spring.
