Tin Machine is one of the greatest yet most overlooked bands of the 90s. A forbearance of grunge, their first album was a revelation at the end of the 80s when glam rock ruled.
TIN MACHINE II was recorded in 1991-1992. This release contains unreleased takes of most of the tracks from this album with the notable exceptions being IF THERE IS SOMETHING (which is an outtake from the first album) and GOODBYE MR. ED.
I received these tapes from a former band member\'s friend on cassette around 1997. They were originally in no particular order and when I converted them from the copy I made of his cassette to the digital domain, I assembled them in the order you now hear. The sound quality is usually excellent and considering the source I will say they are 2nd generation.
I\'ve been collecting for over 20 years and collected hours of Tin Machine boots when they were still together and have never seen these recordings anywhere so this is an extreme rarity. Enjoy!!
