This could be catergorized as a Seattle grunge record. The drummer also plays in the Presidents of the United States of America. I heard of this band from the documentary HYPE! years ago, and I bought this album. Love the drumming, layered guitars, and all the goodies that come with most major label releases. But some things do feel a bit forced. Still a good one to have in the library.
