A rather academic and slightly too long set of variations. Unfortunately, in my opinion this performance does not do justice to the work. There's something dry and boring about the playing, the bravura passages sound forced and artificial (which is something that always bothers me) and as a whole, this gigantic work seems to pretty loose in structure... But still - Enjoy! :)
