The 1930 Kajanus recording of Symphony No. 1 (with very good sound) is the first ever made of a Sibelius symphony.
Also included is a wonderful 1972 recording of Suites 1 and 2 of the Incidental Music for "The Tempest" - the last orchestral music written by Sibelius.
