Description:
Ancient Demonoid torrent still going even after their months long shutdown.
This is the Philips Classics 6 CD set, Tchaikovsky : The Symphonies
Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra
Conductor: Bernard Haitink
Sadly, the cddb entry for this set was horrible, so the APE tags may be inconsistent or have minor errors (spelling, etc) I tried to clean things up and provide a useful set of file names, but I'm sure I didn't get everything perfect.
I used "normal" monkey audio compression, as the high compression saves little disk space, but increases CPU load for decoding.
As opposed to listing the name of every movement, I'll just list the contents of the CDs below.
Disk 1:
Symphony No. 1 in G minor, Op. 13 --Winter Reveries--
Symphony No. 2. in C minor, Op. 17 --Little Russian--
Disk 2:
Symphony No. 3 in D, Op. 29 --Polish--
Slavonic March, Op. 31 (aka Marche Slave)
Francesca da Rimini, Op. 32
Disk 3:
Symphony No. 4 in F minor, Op. 36
Capriccio italien, Op. 45
Ouverture solennelle --1812--, Op. 49 (aka, 1812 overture)
Disk 4:
Symphony No. 5 in E minor, Op. 64
--The Storm--, Op 76
Disk 5:
Symphony No. 6 in B minor, Op. 74 --Pathetique--
Romeo and Juliet, fantasy-overture after Shakespeare
Disk 6:
Manfred, Op. 58 symphony after Lord Byron
