K.Maro, de son vrai nom Cyril Kamar (né à Beyrouth au Liban le 31 janvier 1980), est un chanteur de rap/R'nB commercial (ou rap-variété)montréalais.
Installé au Canada à l'adolescence, il a monté son premier groupe LMDS(Les Messagers du Son) à 13 ans, il étudie au Collège Stanislas à Montréal . C'est là qu'il connaît son partenaire de LMDS, Adil (le Vaï actuel).
K maro sort un premier album " à l'ancienne ", regroupant quatorze chansons réalisées par DJ Short Cut, dont "Le Clan Chill" mettant en vedette[non neutre] Corneille. On y retrouve également "Symphonie pour un dingue" en deux versions; dans sa version originale composée par Louis Côté qui deviendra plus tard le compositeur de "Femme Like you" et la version "Remix pour mes dingues" sur un beat de Sonny Black qui a aussi composé pour Corneille et Kulcha Connexion. Il a acquis une notoriété en insultant Amel Bent chez Claire Chazal.
En 2004 «Femme Like U» remporte le NRJ Music Award 2005, de la chanson de l'année 2004. Son album solo est intitulé la Good Life.
K-Maro est également un producteur avec K.Pone.Inc, sa société de production des artistes tels que Shy'm, Vaï(ex-LMDS)¨,Imposs et Ale Dee.
