I had these shows a couple of years ago but lost them in a catastrophic hard drive failure about a year ago, having found them agin recently on Dime I thought I would share them here.
I don't like grading recordings as it usually causes so much controversy, but the original uploader graded them as "SBD A+++ Get a Boner", and I think he got it just about spot on!
These are generally regarded by SRV fans as better quality than any of his officially released live recordings. Although they were both FM broadcasts, I remember a lot of discussion at the time debating whether they were from the original masters as the quality was so good.
If you like SRV and you haven't heard these, your in for a treat. If you don't know Stevie Ray Vaughan, there is no better place to start. If you just like perfect quality live soundboard recording, these are probably the best you will download this year!
I often read threads on the site as to who was Bowie's best guitarist, Ronno, Slick or Reeves etc. I've never commented, but I think you'll guess where my allegiance lies.
