Each level contains 30 lessons and 30 supplementary "readings" which add cultural context and clarify any difficult or tricky material. These are the current editions available; just load up Lesson 1 in a FLAC-compatible player and begin - no complicated instructions!<br /> <br /> For anyone not familiar with the Pimsleur audio courses, they are the flat-out best audio learning programs available for learning Japanese.
