So, here comes the mysterious sequel of Journey to the Center of the Earth. It took the movie’s director Brad Peyton four years to release this second 3D episode. This time the story is much spiced with father and son’s urgent topic. Sean Anderson performed by Josh Hutcherson is now a full grown teenager who is completely unsociable and adventurous enough to get into the secret satellite research laboratory in order to gain some signal. He is caught by the police and is accompanied by his step father Hank Parsons who is performed by Dwayne Johnson, who desperately wishes to get in touch with his reserved step son who is absorbed by the idea of Jules Verne’s mysterious island. So, Hank a former Navy SEAL manages to decode the signal and find out the location of the island. Sean’s mother, this time performed by Kristin Davis gives her blessing on her men mission to find the missing island. Neither of them however believe their son that this island exists, nevertheless they set off for their adventurous journey.
