DC Comics Chronology - Post-Crisis Pack 37
featuring DC titles published between July 1991 and August 1991
To make up for last pack\'s slowness, big news in this pack: the launch of a new, ongoing Superman title, Superman: The Man of Steel! Also debuting in his own title after years of tormenting the Teen Titans was Deathstroke, the Terminator.
Star Trek - The Modala Imperative, a four-issue mini-series, began; it would tie into another mini-series featuring the Next Generation cast a few months later.
But that\'s not all! At this time, DC launched the !mpact line, featuring old superhero characters licensed from Archie Comics and geared toward a more youthful audience. The line would only last until the end of 1992, however. The first title released was Legend of the Shield, followed in short order by The Comet and Jaguar.
Lastly, Green Arrow v2 celebrated its 50th issue.
