DC Comics Chronology - Post-Crisis Pack 46
featuring DC titles published between September 1992 and November 1992
Lots of turnover this pack, but first, Eclipso: The Darkness Within #2 saw the end of Eclipso\'s summer-long reign of terror over the DC Universe.
The turnover began with four new ongoing titles. Team Titans #1, which featured five different versions -- not just covers, but eight pages of each version were different, featuring one of the team members. It lasted 24 issues before being cancelled for Zero Hour. Darkstars (38 issues) and the ongoing Guy Gardner series (44 issues) also launched, as well as Batman Adventures (36 issues), featuring the animated version of the Caped Crusader.
Several minis began as well: Batman: Sword of Azrael (4 issues) was key, as it eventually led to Knightfall and the ongoing Azrael series. Martian Manhunter: American Secrets (3 issues) and Lobo: Infanticide (4 issues) complete the lineup.
One one-shot of note: Ambush Bug Nothing Special, to date the last title to feature the greatest mental patient ever.
To make room for new titles, the death of the !mpact line began, with Legend of the Shield dying with issue #16 and The Web and Jaguar both coming to an end with issue #14.
And one anniversary to commemorate: Detective Comics reached issue #650 (although it was, perhaps surprisingly, simply a regular issue).
