Superman spin-off month! A four-issue mini-series starring the Matrix of Steel Supergirl, and fresh new ongoing titles featuring the Clone of Steel Superboy (100 issues), and the Steel of Steel (52 issues).
Over in Milestone territory, as part of the Shadow War storyline #0 issues were released featuring Xombi and Shadow Cabinet. Both would receive regular ongoing titles six months later, with Zombi lasting 21 issues and Shadow Cabinet 17.
Fighting American (6 issues) was released, as was the five-issue American Freak: A Tale of the Un-Men. The adaptation of the animated Batman: Mask of the Phantasm film hit the shelves as well.
Also included as a bonus in this pack, due to it not being an actual \"release\", is Death Talks About Life, a free AIDS awareness giveaway released to coincide with the hardcover reprint of Death: The High Cost of Living.
