You see this one's not too whacky either. They did have a bit of an obsession with comets in
those days. Poisonous comet tales were a popular favorite. Comets tended to streak across the sky too.
When I saw my first real comet I had to keep reminding myself it was not supposed to be visibly moving.
Of course there were gorillas plotting world domination, killer insect robots,
and scarecrows with death-ray hands

I want you to know that the Atomic Knights were not as silly as this cover makes them seem.
Knights in genuine antique medieval armor, riding giant dalmatians in a post atomic war
wasteland, being attacked by mole-men could be misinterpreted as silly.:smile:
