Star Trek is an American series based on science fiction. A lot of television series, novels, computer and video games have been produced on this theme. Gene Roddenberry is the creator of the Star Trek theme. Star Trek television series just completed its 40th anniversary on September 8th 2006. Star Trek series usually revolves around the human and alien adventures who serve in coalition star fleet. The characters work for the welfare of others and fight out the challenges thrown to them. The original series was based on the issues of 1960\\\'s, just like modern series reflect current issues. The issues dealt with are Imperialism, class warfare, human rights, racism and the importance of technology. Star Trek first aired as a television series in 1966 after six years of planning put together.
